Hard work
Well the topic is hard work...I think hard work and mean a lot of things. To me hard work is being a mom. I was just 18 when I had my daughter Jayde, I was clueless on how to take care of a baby. Before I was pregnant I was a teen who loved to drink. I would drink at least 5 to 6 times a week. I was on a very fine line between just teen drinking and really having a problem that could last a life time. Then I realized I need to graduate so I layed off the drinking a focused on school and I graduated. After that I had my beautiful daughter Jayde, she changed my world. My life was no longer just mine, its hers. I have grown up so much in these past 2 years. I believe I'm doing a good job with my daughter, I wouldn't change anything except having a really good job(because that would help a lot). Its still a lot of work to raise a 2 year old but I'm just taking it day by day. That's all I have to say for now that's for taking the time to read my post.

Hello Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, working hard to graduate and giving up something that thwarts you from achieving a goal takes more time and effort, but the results are worth it. I also agree that raising a child is not the easiest task to accomplish, but you are succeeding. I highly respect you for that and setting yourself aside to raise your child. I know far too many girls that are too selfish to look past their reflections. Thank you for allowing me to read an inspirational story. See you in class on Tuesday and I hope you have a good weekend.
I do not have a kid but I do believe it is a lot of work to raise one. Most of my friends were teen moms and more than half of them did not grow up. I know most of them that were still partying as much as me if not more. It takes a smart person to know that there is more to life than parties and actually grow from it. I'm glad to see you did that and she is a beautiful little girl. And it's nice to see that your trying to set a good example for her and others that it is possible to raise a kid and go to school I know it may be really hard I can only imagine cause I stress out with just work and school so I say good job to you :)
